Tacos are

still loved,

despite

shells breaking. 

despite

falling apart.

despite 

Being a complete mess.

So why

my friend, 

shouldn’t we still be loved? 

I am treading water

In a sea of anxiety.

Waves crash around me

     And yet

I somehow manage to find the strength 

To float and

     Weather the storms in my mind

with

the same wonder as you do

the stars.

with 

the magic of 

new beginnings.

with 

an understanding that

growth is possible.
